Cancellation Policy

Last updated: January 2026

We understand that plans change. This policy explains how to cancel or reschedule an appointment with Pacific Pro Appliance Repair, and what to expect if a cancellation happens on short notice.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule an appointment in two ways:

Please include your name, the appointment date and time, and whether you want to cancel outright or reschedule.

Cancellation Notice

We ask for at least 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment. This gives us time to offer your slot to another customer who needs help.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a late-cancellation fee, which covers the technician's reserved time. The exact amount will be communicated at the time of booking.

No-Show Policy

If our technician arrives within the agreed arrival window and no one is available to provide access to the property, this is considered a no-show. A no-show fee equal to the standard diagnostic charge may be applied. If you realise you won't be home in time, please call us as soon as possible so we can reschedule rather than make the trip.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling with at least 24 hours notice is always free of charge. We will work with you to find a new time that fits your schedule, typically within the same week.

Refunds

If We Need to Reschedule

Occasionally we may need to reschedule due to traffic, an earlier job running long, weather conditions or staff illness. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find the next available time. We do not charge any fees when we initiate the change.

Force Majeure

Neither party will be responsible for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, power outages, road closures, illness, public health restrictions or other emergencies.
