A few recent Samsung service calls — what the customer described, and exactly how we fixed it.
Samsung Fridge
Samsung Family Hub fridge stopped displaying the touchscreen and the fresh-food side started warming up. Customer tried a soft reset — no change.
Diagnosed a failed main control board and the defrost timer. Replaced both, rebuilt SmartThings pairing and verified cooling for 24 hours.
Samsung Washer
Samsung FlexWash kept throwing UE errors mid-cycle and the door lock wouldn't release when stopped manually. Family of five with two days of laundry backed up.
Found a worn suspension rod and a stuck door-lock solenoid. Replaced both, levelled the unit and ran a balance test cycle — error gone.
Samsung Dryer
Samsung dryer kept ending cycles after 10 minutes with an SD (sensor dry) error. Clothes came out completely damp.
Tested moisture sensor bars — corroded and giving false readings. Cleaned and replaced the sensor strip, calibrated and confirmed a full dry cycle.
